Drayton Bridge Road Project

This Drayton Bridge Road loft conversion in West London involved extensive structural alterations to transform the existing roof space into a larger, more practical part of the home.

A&D Building Solutions carried out major roof opening works, installed structural steelwork and new timber floor and roof framing, and carefully integrated the new structure with the existing property.

The works also included alterations around the existing roof, installation and integration of rooflights, new weatherproofing details and the careful reinstatement of roof tiles.

Working within a fully scaffolded and protected environment allowed the team to undertake the structural changes safely while keeping the property protected throughout the construction process.

The project demonstrates the level of planning and coordination required when adapting an existing London property and creating valuable additional space within the roof.
